Subject: Grant Application – Supporting Veterans Through Golf and Community Building

Dear Grant Committee

We are writing to request funding from Lets Go Foundation to support our programs that provide recreational, rehabilitative, and social opportunities for current and former Service Members, and actively foster community appreciation for their service and sacrifice. Let’s Go Foundation is a dedicated 501(c)(19) organization committed to ensuring no veteran walks their path alone.

Our core mission revolves around reuniting Service Members, rekindling the bonds of brotherhood often strained by time, distance, and transition, and facilitating their successful reintegration into civilian life. We achieve this through a multifaceted approach, primarily centered around organized golf tournaments and related activities.

Specifically, we request funding to enhance and expand our efforts in the following key areas:

Recreational & Rehabilitative Golf Programs: We organize golf tournaments and related activities that provide critical recreational, rehabilitative, and social outlets for current and former Service Members. These events offer a unique opportunity for veterans to reconnect, de-stress, and engage in healthy competition in a supportive environment. This allows service members to heal through community.

Community Outreach and Recognition: Our golf tournament activities are intentionally designed to integrate community events, outreach, and public recognition efforts. These initiatives serve to encourage public appreciation for the service and sacrifice of our Service Members. Our tournaments bring together Service Members from every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces for healing, storytelling, and the renewal of bonds forged in service.

Scholarship Program: We are committed to promoting access and inclusion by providing scholarships to financially disadvantaged Service Members, enabling them to participate in our programs and further their personal and professional development

Peer-to-Peer Connection & Mentorship: We foster spaces for peer-to-peer connection, mentorship, and growth among Service Members. These programs encourage veterans to lean on one another, reflect on their journeys, and support each other in identifying their next mission in life

Supporting Other Veterans' Organizations: We also provide grants to other IRS-recognized Section 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(19) entities engaged in charitable, educational, or patriotic activities benefitting members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families, thereby amplifying our collective impact
